Big Backpack - Little World by Donna Morang - Tales of Donnas travels around the world teaching English as a foreign language. She travelled to 12 countries and speaks of her travels in a way that makes me want to jet off and follow in her footsteps.


Kimchi with Everything: A Year in the Life of a TEFL Teacher - by John Mayston - Giving his view on Korea and tefl this short but interesting book gives an insight into the life of a english teacher in Korea.

For Fukui's Sake: Two years in rural Japan by Sam Baldwin - A great book about life in small town in Japan on the JET programme.

Watermelon is life + Happy time go fast by Wes Weston - Two books written by a traveller who has taught English in Korea and Namibia , and written about his experiences in both these great books.

That bear ate my pants ! By Tony James Slater - A book about volunteering at an animal rescue centre in South America. Written by an avid traveller giving you all the details about his experience.

The Traveller By Daniel Baylis - Daniel spent a year travelling the world volunteering spending a month in each of his destinations volunteering, this is his story.

Teaching English in a Foreign Land - A website/Blog by Barry O'leary. He has been a TEFL teacher for 8 years and has travelled all over the world. He has also written a book i would thoroughly advise reading if your planning to travel and TEFL which can be bought HERE!
